Valley Brass Band proudly affirms its commitment to transgender and non-binary inclusion. Following the UK Supreme Court’s April 2025 ruling that defines “sex” under the Equality Act as biological sex at birth, we reaffirm that our values remain unchanged: every member deserves respect, dignity, and full participation.

We will continue to:

1. Use correct names and pronouns
2. Provide gender-inclusive facilities and uniform options
3. Maintain zero tolerance for discrimination
4. Listen to and support our transgender and non-binary members
